Tomorrow is the day we’ve been waiting for since undertaking our first major film last October! Come join us for the screening of our movie and other entries at the Cosmic Film Festival. A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out is Ikalian Park’s first zombie movie. The movie was originally planned to test our capabilities with special effects and to give us some experience in working with large groups. The script was written by Ike, in order to give everyone in the group a chance to appear in a single movie. The movie was shot over 3 days at Cal’s house, and then edited over approximately 2 months. All the guns depicted in this movie are Airsoft guns (real guns were not ever used for safety and legal reasons). 1 watermelon was destroyed in the making of this film, and lots of fake blood was used as well. The majority of the movie was shot with a Cannon 7D (full list of the gear used can be found at dr4gon.net/gear – our cameraman’s website- ). The long scene that follows the soda can, and then goes through the bathroom was shot on a home made steadican, and the dolly shot of the guns on the pool table also used a home made dolly.
